TRAINING COURSE – Isotropix Clarisse iFX

In today's 3D & VFX production always higher demands are placed on the artist. Rarely a single 3D solution can solve all the tasks for a project, so tools are often mixed according to their specialization and the results have to be put together for the final scene. In addition, the complexity of the scenes increases and, of course, the polygon count increases, which often makes fast work in lighting and layout almost impossible. Constant changes during the implementation phase or even shortly before delivery have to be taken into account and assets have to be updated without losing their work. And in the end there should be a photorealistic result that can be flexibly finalized in compositing.

This is where Clarisse iFX scores. Isotropix Clarisse iFX is the ideal tool for Layout, Scene Assembly, Lighting & Rendering. It Is able to effectively render and manage huge scenes with a myriad of polygons. By referencing assets of all kinds (geometries, animations and volumes) and its procedural structure, assets can easily be exchanged or further developed during implementation. The construction of cities, natural environments and other huge scenes is procedurally directly possible through integrated scatter tools and millions of polygons are barely noticeable in the viewport. Thus, shading and lighting is intuitively possible for the artist. The rendering engine is able to render geometry as well as volume photorealistically. This makes Clarisse iFX the ideal scene assembly, lighting, shading and rendering environment, from freelancers to small teams to large studios such as ILM and DNEG.
